I stayed at a site by the river with a water/electric hookup. It was a nice spot close to the bathhouse. The location is convenient, and Asheville is easy to get to. I walked my dog around the two lakes multiple times. Staff is friendly and their little shop offers anything you might be missing while camping. I will come again.

The internet was good, which was important to us. Wish they had a threaded sewer connection so there would be no leakage. Loved having someone show us and guide us to our site upon arrival.

Are stay was a short 4 day stay but went very well. The grounds were nice and the spot was close to most things like stores and gas. The lots were level and the staff were there to get you anything you might need.

My 5th time in 3 years staying there. It's beautiful but most of the sites in section D are far from level. Aside from that it's a wonderful place to visit

Very nice conveniently located campground. Very clean and well kept. The ponds and stream were especially nice. The only thing that wasn't great was the laundry facility. Although the laundry was sufficient it could use some upgrading.

This place never disappoints. Friendly staff. Friendly neighbors, great fishing and very comfortable cabin. The weather was crappy on sunday but that's just my luck. Always will be a koa member and visit the swannanoa location at least twice a year

We enjoyed our trip with the exception of having a bicycle stolen from our campsite . When I reported it to the staff they said they had been having a lot of theft in the campground I feel we should have been informed of this so we could have taken extra precautions with our items. If we had been informed before hand we would have chained the bicycle and would not be out a1,000. 00 bike. Thank u

A very pretty park but a number of negatives. My biggest complaint is analog cable. Just left Yamassee KOA WHICH HAD 62 Digital channels. For what you charge you should be ashamed. We're told you can't walk through building to laundromat must walk around building in mud even though a door is there to come through main building. ENTRY sometimes blocks exit.

Beautiful campground. Well-kept and friendly staff, but the sites are too small and too close together. At least the premium ones are. We were hoping for something better for the amount of $ we paid.

Wonderful campground. Very neat and tidy and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We are 43' long 5th wheel and we had a backin site in block A. Only negatives was the road in that area is a bit narrow and when we exited it would be helpful if the tree branches on the tree by the pool/playground could be trimmed a little higher. Corner is a bit tight for big rigs to make.

Very nice campground with a river and 2 lakes. The sites across the river are larger and quieter while the front campground area is close quarters and noisier due to closer proximity to the busy road and railroad tracks. Close to Asheville, the Biltmore and many other outdoor activities

It is one of the best KOAs I have been to. The property is beautiful. The employees are great. The bathrooms were clean and the shower actually had water pressure. I will be back

Campsites are packed in next to each other. Highway and train noise was quite evident. However, the campground was well maintained and girls in the office were very helpful.

I loved staying at the Asheville East KOA. The park is beautiful and the people made my stay fantastic. Everyone, from the ladies in the office to all of the staff in the park were sooo helpful to me. I had some physical tasks to overcome and the staff all happily came to my aid. Additionally, I would also like to recognize all the happy campers I met and visited with. Many were return Campers.

One of the most beautiful campgrounds we’ve been to! With lakes and a river running thru it. It was our 2nd visit and we will be returning for sure.

Always a pleasurable experience! One thing to note... this was the second time in my visits that a camper had brought a drone. In this case, they flew the drone into the side of my camper after dark. I told the folks at the office, and I think they spoke to the camper. Drones do NOT belong in a campground. It is a safety issue, and a privacy issue. Please amend your policy.

A teeny bit close to the highway but the area was scenic and peaceful! We explored Chimney Rock and Biltmore Estate in the area.

Nice campground with easy access and great staff. They are always roaming the property doing maintenance and checking things out. I recommend the spots around the lake if you are looking for more space, peace, and quiet. The full hookups up front are a bit crowded with big rigs. The camp store is great! Thank you Ashville KOA East for a great stay. My go to place when visiting Ashville.
